A Love for Teaching
Originally from Lincolnshire, IL, I began my journey with the game of golf at the age of 12 and went on to play varsity golf at Stevenson High School. Before becoming a Class A LPGA Teaching Professional, I was a middle school U.S. history teacher. I have always had a passion for teaching, and as the years went on, I realized that my true calling was to teach golf.
In 2017, I made the decision to begin my journey to become an LPGA certified instructor. Additionally, I became a U.S. Kids certified instructor to further my knowledge for teaching junior players in a way that is both fun and effective. I pride myself on creating a positive and welcoming environment. Communication is simple and clear. Instruction is research-based and a wide variety of drills are utilized to aid in motor-skill acquisition and development. My instruction is always student-centered and tailored to each person's individual needs and goals. Technology available includes Flightscope Mevo+ (3-D Doppler Radar Launch Monitor) and Hudl Video Analysis.
Heritage Oaks Golf Club became an official LPGA/USGA Girls Golf Site under my guidance in 2017. I'm proud to serve as Site Director, where I work to grow the game for girls and for women. The face of golf is changing and I couldn't be more proud to be a part of it!
